Men's Cross Country Competes in the Osprey Invitational.

GALLOWAY, NJ – The men's cross country team had a respectable showing at the Stockton University Osprey Invitational on Saturday, September 21, showing overall marked improvement over their season opener at the TCNJ Invitational the week prior. 

Sophomore Anthony Paterno was again the Owl's top finisher with a time of 34:04 over the 8,000 meter (5 mile) course. Aaron McGriff was second for the Owls in a time of 39:59. Paterno and McGriff finished in 162nd and 194th respectively out of 210 runners. 

Freshman Dillon Dering made his collegiate cross country debut for the Owls finishing in 200th place in a time of 41:14. 

"We're making strides and everyone is showing steady improvement each week," said Head Cross Country Coach Alec Moore.

Both the men's and women's cross country teams will have a break from competition for the next two weeks, before competing again at the St. Joseph's College Golden Eagle Invitational on Saturday, October 12 at Bethpage State Park in New York.
