Coach Roussey is currently entering his 25th year of coaching lacrosse, and was hired as the Head Coach of Union County College in 2013. In that time Coach Roussey has taken the team from a 6-12 first year record to 19-1, and an appearance in the NJCAA National Tournament. The 2016 Region XIX Championship team ended the season with a national ranking of sixth in the nation. During his time at Union County College he has coached 34 All-Region XIX players, 5 Region XIX Players of the Year and 4 NJCAA All-Americans and 11 NJCAA Academic All Americans.

 Preceding Union County College, Coach Roussey started the Men’s Lacrosse program at The County College of Morris where he was the head coach for four seasons. Coach Roussey took CCM from 0 wins the first season to 9 wins in the second season and a trip to the Region XIX Championship game. During this season, the team was ranked as high as 8th in the country.  Coach Roussey coached a 2-time All-American and 3 Players of the Year in Region XIX, with a total of 10 All-Region picks at CCM. Many of Coach Roussey’s former players have gone on to play at four year schools, often with scholarship offers.

 In eleven years of coaching Region XIX, Coach Roussey has guided his teams to 5 Region XIX Championship games, coached the Player of the Year 7 of 11 years, coached 44 All-Region XIX players, and has coached 6 NJCAA All-Americans. Coach Roussey has coached the most All-Americans to be named from Region XIX, and is the winningest head lacrosse coach in Region XIX.

 Prior to coaching at the collegiate level, Coach Roussey was the offensive coordinator for New Jersey state powerhouse Ridge High School. During his 6 years at Ridge, the team won over 80 games and had 4 All-Americans, along with numerous 1st Team All-State and All-Conference players. Before Ridge, he was the Head Lacrosse Coach at Roxbury High School and offensive coordinator at Mendham High School. Coach Roussey lives in Cranford, NJ with his wife Diane and daughter Clare, and is also actively involved in the Cranford Girls Lacrosse program.
