The Lacrosse Team is Making a Name for Themselves

The Union County College men's lacrosse program has had a tremendous start to the 2016 season with an overall record of 8-2 and 3-0 throughout Region XIX.  The two games that the Owls fell short were to the #4 ranked team in the Nation, CCBC Essex and to the #1 ranked team, Nassau Community College.

The program is now in its 4th season and making waves throughout Region XIX and the national rankings.  Union is currently ranked 5th in the nation with is the highest national ranking that the program has been ranked. The next highest Region XIX college to be ranked is Ocean County College at #11.  Throughout the region, the Owls are ranked in the coveted #1 spot and are looking to hold onto that position to enter the Region XIX Championship Tournament at the end of April.
