WESTAMPTON, NJ - On Monday, March 25th the Union County College Golf team kicked off their 2019 season at Deerwood Golf Course. In less than ideal playing conditions, sophomore golfer Samuel Skultety paced Union firing a solid round of 82. Freshman Nathaniel Halek carded a 98 to earn second place honors for Union. Freshman Joram Morinvil and Anthony Tirella also competed for Union. It was obvious that the young Owl Golfers were a bit nervous in this first match of the season. Coaches William Dunscombe and Marc Postiglione expect the young Owls to continue to improve throughout the season. The next match for the Owls will be a home match next Monday, April 1st at Galloping Hill Golf Course in Kenilworth, New Jersey.
