LINCROFT, NJ - The Union men's basketball team lost to host Brookdale 84-76.
Union took the lead for most of the second half, but Brookdale went on a late 17-3 run to close out the victory. Freshman Tyheem Burno (Jersey City, NJ) led all scorers with 38 points. His afternoon also included seven rebounds, seven assists, six steals and two blocks. Sophomores Nyquan McComb (Staten Island, NY) and Trevon Bleasdell (Irvington, NJ) added 16 points and 12 points.
The loss drops Unions record to 4-15 on the season. The Owls return to action on Tuesday, January 22 as the travel to Middlesex County College for a 6:00 pm tip.
