Union Men's Basketball Sends Hawks Into a Tailspin

CRANFORD, NJ - The Union men's basketball team came back from a two point halftime deficit to beat the Rockland Hawks 103-90.

Sophomore Derek Booker (Bayonne, NJ) was hot again this afternoon.  After his 54 point outburst on Thursday, Booker dropped 40 points to lead the Owls scoring.  Freshman Tyheem Burno had a good scoring day as well adding 21 points.  Sophomore Jordan Rowley (Hillside, NJ) and freshman Lamont Cruse (Scotch Plains, NJ) rounded out the double digit scoring with 12 points and 10 points a piece.

The win improves the Owls record to 8-3 overall.  Union is back in action at home on Tuesday, December 11 as Rowan College of Gloucester County comes to town in a Region XIX battle.  Tipoff time is 5:00 pm.
