Booker's 54 Points Leads Union Men's Basketball to Decisive Victory

TOMS RIVER, NJ - In a game that was out of reach at halftime, the Union men's basketball team was 30 points better then Ocean when the buzzer sounded in a 122-92 victory.

Sophomore Derek Booker (Bayonne, NJ) was unstoppable in the game dropping a career high 54 points.  Freshman Marvellous Akingbala (Hillside, NJ) added 12 points.  Sophomores Nyquan McComb (Staten Island, NY) and Jordan Rowley (Hillside, NJ) each chipped in 11 and 10 points to close out the double digit scoring for the Owls.

With the win Union improves their record to 7-3 overall.  The Owls are next in action at home versus Rockland Community College on Saturday, December 8 for a 2:00 pm start.
