Union Men's Basketball Tops Passaic

PATERSON, NJ - The Union men's basketball team was 19 points better then Passaic defeating the Panthers on their home court 101-92.

Union went down 11-2 in the opening minutes of the first half, but bounced back to a 61-36 halftime lead and never looked back.  Sophomore Nyquan McComb (Staten Island, NY) and freshman Tyheem Burno (Jersey City, NJ) led the Owls in points with 18 a piece.  Sophomore Devon Streeter (Jersey City, NJ) and Freshman Lamont Cruse (Scotch Plains, NJ) each chipped in 13 and 12 points in the victory.

Union returns to the court on Thursday, November 15 when they travel to Region XIX opponent Thaddeus Stevens in Lancaster, PA tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm.  The win improves Union's record to 3-1 overall.
