Bruce Daddis joins the Owls as head baseball coach in the fall of 2018. A Belleville, N.J. native, Coach Daddis served as Assistant High School Baseball Coach with Oratory Prep, Belleville, Wayne Hills, and most recently North Arlington. He is also a Head Coach in the Atlantic Baseball Confederation-Collegiate League with the Union County Gamers, an organization he has been with since 2014.

Daddis’ coaching career began at the college level at NCAA Division II Caldwell College, where he also played. During his time as assistant coach, Caldwell advanced to the NCAA Division II Northeast Regional and was among the national leaders in earned run average. He then went on to manage the Belleville Indians men’s baseball team from 2005-2008 in the North Jersey Majors-Met League, coaching many elite college baseball players as well as professional prospects and veterans. 

As a pitcher, Daddis was captain at both Belleville High School and Caldwell College, leading the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference in games pitched for Caldwell during the 2002 season, compiling a 3-1 record out of the bullpen for a team which reached the conference finals. He also appeared in multiple All-Star games with the Denville Tigers and Sussex Wizards of the Morris County Majors Baseball League.

Daddis is a U.S. Army Veteran who is also currently serving in the National Guard. He resides in Lincoln Park, N.J. with his fiancé and three children while teaching High School History in his hometown of Belleville.
