UCC Clipped by Northampton in Slugfest, 17-12

BETHLETHEM, PA – Offense was on display in Bethlehem, as the Owls and Spartans combined for a total of 29 runs in Northampton's 17-12 victory.

 

UCC (11-25, 3-11) was clicking offensively, but could not stifle the Northampton bats in back-and-forth affair. Richard Bianchi launched a two-run home run to kick start the UCC offense. Carlos Marte finished the day 4-for-5 with with a RBI and a two runs scored. Quincy Bryant also had a nice day at the plate with 3 RBIs on two hits. Calvin Colon also knocked in two runs in the game. 

 

The Owls will be back in action tomorrow with a road contest at Raritan Valley Community College. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. in Branchburg, NJ.
