STONE RIDGE, NY – The Union Owls (5-9, 0-2) split the Sunday doubleheader at Ulster County (4-3, 0-0).
Game 1 | Union 4, Ulster 1
Kevin Roll rolled to his third straight victory on the hill with a complete game performance. Roll only surrendered two hits and one run in the win. Quincy Bryant was all over the stat sheet going 2-for-4 with a double, a RBI, a run and two stolen bases on the day. Richard Bianchi also added a two-run double en route to the 4-1 victory.
Game 2 | Ulster 8, Union 0
The Ulster Senators took down the Union Owls in six innings in game two of the doubleheader. Carlos Marte knocked two of the Owls three hits in the game including a double. Austin Brooks also added a hit as well as an inning of relief from the bullpen.
The Owls head to Pennsylvania tomorrow to take on Lehigh Carbon Community College at 3:30 p.m. However, UCC will be back in Ulster on Wednesday to take on the Senators again to decide the series.
