MYRTLE BEACH, SC – The UCC Owls fell to Rowan College at Burlington County in their opening game in South Carolina by a final score of 13-0 in five innings.
The Owls (0-2, 0-0) opened their South Carolina Spring Break schedule against in-state rival Rowan College at Burlington County. The Owls offense was held to just five hits in the shortened game. RCBC (2-3, 0-2) scored 13 runs on nine hits in the game.
Patrick Connolly continues his hot start at the plate. The freshman catcher notched two hits in his three plate appearances. James Liburd also reached base in both of his plate appearances.
UCC continues their spring break schedule with two games on the docket tomorrow. The Owls are set to square off against Illinois Valley Community College at noon tomorrow and will follow that game with a matchup against Elgin Community College at 3:30 p.m.
