Union County College baseball team hosted its first Scout Day at the end of February. Scout Days help professional scouts and four year colleges to get a look at Union's players individually to help get them recruited or scouted.
Jon Lewis, the new head baseball coach, has done a tremendous job building the roster for the 2013 season. The Scout Day was successful having four pro baseball scouts and seven colleges turn out for this event. The response was great with coaches already contacting Jon about recruiting some of his athletes.
