Twelve Union County College Student-Athletes are named to the NJCAA All-Academic Teams!

CRANFORD, NJ- Twelve Union Owls have been named to either the Second or Third NJCAA All-Academic Teams for the 2019-2020 school year!

In order to be selected to an NJCAA All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have earned a GPA within a certain range. To make the Second Team, a student-athlete must have earned a GPA ranging from a 3.80 to a 3.99. To make the Third Team, a student-athlete must have earned a GPA ranging from a 3.60 to a 3.79. The list of all Union County College student-athletes that made each team is listed below!

 

Second Team:

Jordan Darby (Men's Track and Field)

Sophia De Andrade (Women's Cross Country and Track and Field)

Cyanna Gonzalez (Women's Soccer)

Anthony Lazu (Men's Lacrosse)

Lindsay Wielgus (Women's Soccer)

 

Third Team:

Gabriela Azevedo (Women's Volleyball)

Amanda Benitez (Women's Soccer)

Wilfried Dake (Men's Cross Country)

Sarah English (Women's Soccer)

Jefferson Garcia (Wrestling)
