CRANFORD, NJ- Jerry Henderson and Marbely Montas have been named as the Men's and Women's Basketball GSAC Coaches of the Year respectively.

Jerry Henderson was named as the Division III GSAC Men's Coach of the Year for the 2019-2020 season. This season was Henderson's 3rd as the head coach of the Union County College Men's Basketball Team. Prior to taking the head coaching position at Union County College, Henderson was an assistant coach for the perennial powerhouse Patrick School in Elizabeth, NJ.

Marbely Montas was named as the Division II GSAC Women's Coach of the Year for the 2019-2020 season. This season was Montas's 4th as the head coach of the Union County College Women's Basketball Team. She led the team to the Region XIX Championship for the third season in a row, and was named the 2019-2020 Region XIX Coach of the Year as well.

In addition to having been both named as Coaches of the Year, both coaches led their teams to being the GSAC Champions for the season. Congratulations to both coaches on their spectacular seasons!
