ROSELLE, NJ - The Union County College athletic department celebrated their first End of Year Athletic Awards Banquet at the Warinanco Sports Center in Roselle, NJ on Wednesday evening. The night was a culmination of congratulations, celebrations and stories from this past year enjoyed by the 135 people that were in attendance.
The evening was highlighted by the athletic departments five major awards. Bea Rodriguez, Union's Director of Enrollment Services, was recognized for her unwavering support of the Union Owls athletic department. Jordan Rowley and Jessica Woods were recognized as the Male and Female Athletes of the Year, while Kevin Roll and Lauren Buchanan were honored as the Male and Female Scholar Athletes of the Year.
Women's soccer was presented with a ring ceremony celebrating their successful 2018 campaign on the field leading to a National 3rd Place finish.
