Region XIX and Union County College has just recently lost a key member of Union County College Athletics, Fred Perry.
Fred began the Women's Basketball program in 1973 and never had a losing season during his tenure which ended in 1994. He then continued his love of athletics as the Athletics Director for Union. Over his athletic career, Fred has earned and been award countless accolades.

The athletic excellence of Union County College has been established by thoughtless contributors like Fred. All of Union's student athletes are appreciative of the countless hours that Fred put into make being an 'Owl' such an amazing thing!
The family is having a small semi-private Memorial Service on Thursday,
July 28 at 10am in North Carolina.
