Fitness Center

UCNJ's Fitness Center is currently OPEN to registered students, faculty and staff only during the following hours.

All members that workout must present a valid UCNJ ID and wipe down all machines before and after usage each time. Locker rooms are available for usage. Please bring your own lock and remove all belongings after your workout. Members must also provide their own full water bottle as their are no working water fountains in the fitness center.

 

 UCNJ's Fitness Center is located on the Cranford Campus (room C-230; 2nd floor above Campus Center)

Use the entrance of the Victor M. Richel Studnet Commons to gain access to the college which is located near parking lots 1 & 2.

 

Fitness Center Hours:

Fitness Center CLOSED March 29-31, 2024. The Fitness Center will reopen April 1 at 7am.

Monday: 7am - 7pm

Tuesday: 7am - 7pm

Wednesday: 7am - 7pm

Thursday: 7am - 7pm

Friday: 7am - 7pm

Saturday: 9am - 2pm

The Fitness Center is intended to promote a culture of healthy living amongst UCNJ students, faculty, staff.

Here are some links for sample workouts from our center.  If you have availability of weights you can follow along with these workouts.  If you do not have weights we will be following up with some other more creative workouts you can do at home along with links to various class type workouts you can follow along with.  Please stay healthy and active in this time of crisis.

 

Our fitness center has taken a giant transformation since the above videos were taken as you can see in the initial video.  Please check back for more videos on things to do at your home during the pandemic to stay in shape.  If you have weights/dumbbells you don't need much to still push yourself to being active and in shape.
